Adventures in Buenos Aires

So what have we done in Buenos Aires since we have been here? We have been to the San Telmo markets which were cool. I found the indoor area of the markets more interesting because it had a really good vibe and had really nice food. I feel like the outdoor bit had a bit of things you didn't really need like nick-knacks that would just sit on your shelf at home and collect dust. The San Telmo Markets have such an interesting history. The San Telmo Markets are one of the oldest in the city. Originally it was a community food market made for new immigrants.

Other things we visited were the El Ateneo Grand Splendid which is a beautiful, breathtaking bookshop in an old theater that was named Grand Splendid Theater and opened in 1919. It was closed at the end of the 1980s and opened again in 2000 as a bookshop. An interesting fact is that this is the largest bookstore in South America.

Don’t get me wrong, stuff has not been all sunshine and rainbows since we started our world trip. When we got to Buenos Aires our big family bag decided to stay an extra night in Chile hehehe. But it's all good we got it back. We have this thing now when things go wrong we say “The adventure continues”. When we got to the apartment we were going to stay in for two weeks in Buenos Aires we found out that it was quite a small one-bedroom apartment. My brother and I are sleeping on a small bed couch but we are all making it work in this small space.

So overall, I think these three weeks of being out of our house have been interesting and we have already had many great experiences and have made so many memories and I hope many more to come.

For those that are reading this wishing everyone a happy new year! I hope this year is epic and filled with awesome adventures with lots of memories made😀.

Hope you stick around to see what is new on our big adventure across the world. Let me know what stories you like, what you like to learn more about and I will learn and grow with you!
